The Gamecocks are facing what some news media are calling a mission impossible.
The Florida Gators have been running through defense's, racking up more than thirty-five points a game.
SEC leading sacker Eric Norwood is use to slamming quarterbacks into the ground and he can not wait to get his hands on last years Heismen winner, Tim Tebow.
"I feel it's a real big battle between one of the top defensive teams and the top offensive teams in the nation," says Norwood.
Even though the Gamecocks are twenty-one point underdogs, Norwood still feels that this mission is possible.
That same confidence is felt on both sides of South Carolina's football team; the offense believes they can move the ball against the gators defense.
Defensive team captain Emmanuel Cook says there will be no one Tom Cruise of this mission impossible, it will take the whole team to win.
"We know who we got to stop and we know what their capable of and we're going to go out and play our defense and win the game," says Cook.
Norwood would not promise a win but he says he will promise to go out and knock the Florida Gators around.
A promise from the Carolina defense they say you can depend on.
