Steve Spurrier is again addressing the issue of who should be the starting quaterback in his Tuesday press conference. The Head Ball Coach says Chris Smelley's performance is still not where he would like it to be.
Spurrier also mentioned the possibility of allowing redshirt freshman Stephen Garcia to start this week against UAB. Spurrier says he will announce the starting offense after Thursday's practice.
Either way, this should be a good week for Garcia and Smelley to work their problems out. UAB's pass defense is ranked 117th out of 119 teams.
