Seniors aren't the only ones who will be leaving USC next month. University President Andrew Sorenson will be leaving, too. A farewell ceremony was held in honor of Sorenson and his wife on Tuesday.
There was food, gifts and nothing but good feelings at the ceremony, and the Sorensons were touched.
"It's so sweet of the students to do this, they're they best. It's just wonderful," said Mrs. Sorenson.
Sorenson has been the President of USC for six years and says he's proud of the changes that have happened since he took office.
He also says there are certain things he's going to miss more than others.
"Day to day contacts with students," said Sorenson. "I won't have the bond of living on the horseshoe and seeing students all hours of day and night."
A replacement hasn't been named yet, but the Sorensons will be missed and always welcome at USC.
