The South Carolina baseball team completed its series sweep of Auburn with a 7-6 victory Sunday afternoon.

Pitcher Blake Cooper picked up his fourth win of the season, with reliever Brandon Todd getting his fourth save.  Justin Smoak, James Darnell, Kyle Enders and Reese Havens each had two hits.

The Gamecocks survived a late push by the Tigers when Hunter Morris hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to close the lead to one.  The Gamecocks held off the Tigers, to get its third win in as many days.

South Carolina (25-10, 9-6) is now halfway through its conference schedule, and is in third place in the SEC East, despite having the second best overall record among SEC teams this year.

USC's next game is Tuesday night against USC-Upstate, 7 p.m. at Sarge Frye Field.
