Sports talk, radio shows, and news updates are all things people are used to finding on a podcast. But now, churches are getting in the mix.

Shandon Baptist's college ministry puts their messages up on a podcast every week. Pastor Steve Turner says it puts more pressure on him to do well.

"Since it's being broadcast to people all over the world, I want to make sure my message is well thought out," he said.

A survey by the Pew Center reports people download religious information more than music or participate in on-line auctions. Greg Bajan regularly attends church, but he says he likes listening to other preacher's sermons through podcasts.

"It gives a lot of diversity in my walk with the Lord," says Greg.

Many of the podcasts can be found by searching the name of the church in Itunes. And Turner says many of them are free to subscribe to.
