Carolina Baseball team celebrates their third win this year over Clemson.

The Carolina Baseball team crushed Clemson 7-1 Wednesday night, giving the Gamecocks victories in all three meetings with the Tigers this year.
Leading the way was James Darnell with who went 4-4 with two homeruns and five RBI's. Justin Smoak tied the South Carolina school record for career home runs with on homer in the 7-1 win. In all, the Gamecocks homered four times Wednesday at Sarge Frye Field.
The win lifts USC to 22-10 on the season, the Tigers drop to 18-14. The final game between the two will be next Wednesday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
The Lady Gamecock softball team pulled off a comeback win against Coastal Carolina Wednesday evening. Jill Semento had her fourth grand slam of the season In the top of the seventh inning to help defeat the Chanticleers 6-2.
Lady Gamecocks are 20-15 on the season, the Chanticleers fall to 16-27. Carolina returns to conference play on Saturday with a doubleheader against Mississippi State at 1:00 p.m. at Beckham Field.
