South Carolina's basketball rumor mill has a new coach du jour.
Western Kentucky's Darrin Horn is the new frontrunner to take over USC's head coaching position, according to The State newspaper.
Horn's name emerges as Oklahoma's Jeff Capel agreed to a contract extension with the school last week. Capel was considered the favorite until news of a new contract with Oklahoma took his name out of the discussion.
The attention now shifts to Horn, 34, whose Western Kentucky Hilltoppers were knocked out of the the NCAA tournament by North Carolina last night.
If not Horn, sources also told The State USC has interest in Davidson's Bob McKillop and Massachusetts' Travis Ford.
