Valentine's Day is not just for people anymore.

The National Retail Federation says pet-owners will spend $367 million dollars on pet gifts this Valentine's Day.  And some pet stores in Columbia can tell there's an increase in business.

"Valentine's has been amazing, we've sold out of a lot of stuff, people love they're animals, I know that for a fact cause I love all mine," says Marvin Mathias, dog trainer at Petsmart.

Debbie Edens, Pawprietor of Three Dog Bakery, agrees.

"Valentine's Day at Three Dog Bakery is one of our biggest...celebration days," she says.

The Three Dog Bakery is celebrating today by holding a doggie photo shoot and offering free treats to pets and owners.  Pet-owners can get pictures taken of their dogs for $15 dollars and $5 dollars of that donation is going to PAALS, Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services.

Some of the most popular gifts at her store are festive collars and Valentine's inspired doggie treats according to Edens.
