Searchers are still looking for two workers missing after a sugar mill explosion in Port Wentworth, Georgia. Firefighters found one of the three missing bodies monday morning. This brings the death toll to 6.
Investigators still don't know why the Imperial Sugar mill exploded, but they believe it had something to do with unstable sugar dust.
Authorities say almost 100 people were working in the area when the plant exploded. Dozens of burned workers were sent to the burn unit at Doctor's Hospital of Augusta.
"The most important things for these patients in the next 24-48 hours is blood. They will need multiple units of blood for their multiple surgeries," says a doctor at the hospital.
Firefighters haven't been able to search the parts of the mill that are still burning or are considered too unsafe to enter.
