USC senior checks off her final boxes on college bucket list
Senior Claire Kudlata and Carolina News Reporter Allison McHugh snuck into President Pastides garden. Sneaking into the garden was one of Claire's goals since freshmen year.
Claire enjoyed her last buffalo chicken pizza from Pandini's. It was the last time she'd make the trip to the on campus pizza joint.

Some students at USC are counting down the days until summer vacation while others are running around trying to finish up checking off their last few bucket list items before graduation. Senior Claire Kudlata came up with a bucket list of things she wanted to do before graduating at the beginning of the school year. With only a few days left we rushed around campus trying to check off her last few items.
The first box we attempted to check off took us to President Pastides' garden, behind the President's House on The Horseshoe. We tip-toed passed the fence and quickly ran away to so we didn't get caught trespassing in the Dr. Pastides backyard. And, just like that, Claire checked her first box and we were on to the next.
"From the garden, to the clapping circle," Kudlata said.
The clapping circle, behind the Russell House, is one of South Carolina's hidden secrets. Rumor has it if you clap in the middle of the circle, campus claps back. Campus gave Claire her senior wish and we were able to check off box number two.
And the final box of the day came with a pizza inside from Pandinis, a delicacy that brought her back a couple years.
"I haven't been here since first semester," Kudlata said.
After a few bites, Claire pulled out her list and checked off the last box.
