Graduation day has always been a big affair at the University of South Carolina. Budding graduates bring family and friends from all around to witness their step into adulthood.
But that will change for many this year. USC announced students will each get only five tickets. This is a problem for students like Jessica Douglas, who has a big family.
"I'm disappointed because my immediate family is more than five, so I have to pick and choose who gets to see my big day. When in reality, everybody who wants to see it, should see it", says Douglas.
Loved ones possibly missing out on this special day is something students won't be able to get back.
"We only get this day once!", says Taylor Alston.
This change is to ensure that the ceremony remains at the Colonial Life Arena as well as for security reasons.
But there could be hope for some. Additional guest tickets open up for a limited time through Ticketmaster starting April 10th.
