The Lexington County Coroner says 31-year-old woman found dead in her home died as a result of a "sharp force injury." Police came to Lindsay Nicole Lee's house on the 200 block of Haleywood Lane for a welfare check and found her body Tuesday morning.
“Lindsey was a valued member of the LCSD family and an integral part of our team,” Sheriff Jay Koon said in a press release. “We’ve extended our heartfelt condolences to her family and we’re actively helping them through this very difficult time.”
Lee's next-door neighbor CJ McIntyre would like answers to her suspicious death.
"I just really want to find out what happened she was a sweet person from what I saw and very young, it's very sad," McIntyre said.
SLED is still investigating the exact cause of death.
