The College Town Throwdown stopped at Finlay Park for over six country stars to perform and help raise money for the flood relief. South Carolina natives Lee Brice and Patrick Davis played to give back to their state they grew up in.
Each ticket cost $20 and $2 of each ticket sold went to the South Carolina Flood Relief for American Red Cross.
Lee Brice is a native of Sumter who is now a famous country star.
“Thank you all so much for coming out and what a beautiful night it is. What a good cause it is to help out everyone we can,” Lee Brice said.
Brice also auctioned off his guitar he used during the show and all proceeds will go to the Flood Relief.
The College Town Throwdown tour has already traveled to five other schools in hopes to throw the biggest tailgate. Their next stop is in Tallahassee for the Florida State football game.
