Rex's owner, Attorney Kenneth Berger says that Rex has been a good dog and probably treated more like a child than a dog.
When Rex is not hard at work, he loves to eat, play with stuffed animals, and playing with his chew toy.

When you visit a law office you'll find the usual attorneys, legal assistants, and interns. At the law office of Kenneth Berger you'll also be greeted by a staff member by the name of Theodore Berger, also known as Rex.
"Rex is officially our sergeant-at- arms but I think if we needed a security dog, we need a dog with a little more growl and a little less personality," said Rex's owner, attorney Kenneth Berger.
Rex's main role at the law firm is promoting his "father's" business. Public Relation and Marketing intern, Alivia Troxell takes Rex to various Columbia locations to play "Where in the world is Rex?" on the firm's Internet page.
"He's been to Five Points, the State House, I've taken him to the river walk and he's been to the cockabos at Williams-Brice Stadium," she says.
As hard as Berger and Troxell work in the office, they both love to see Rex keeping them entertained. On February 18th, the law firm celebrated Rex's third birthday, making Rex 21 years old in dog years. They even made a special cake for the furry partner.
