Kids weren't the only ones getting in on the Easter fun this weekend. About 75 dogs gathered at the Martin Luther King Junior park Saturday to sniff out over 300 hidden eggs. Inside each egg was a tasty treat.

Pupcakes Bakery in Five Points hosted its annual Easter B'egg Hunt, followed by a parade back to the bakery for a party and prizes.

"Weather is nice, people wanna be outside doing stuff with their pets and this is a fun thing to do," said Pucakes Bakery owner, Marie S. Lipton.

For pet owner Angie Tolbert, the Easter B'egg Hunt was a unique way to celebrate the holiday.

"It's just a fun way to hang out with my dog for Easter and do something different in Columbia," said Tolbert.

Gleeda wore his Easter finest.

"He has this little stud shirt today, wanted to come out and find a bunch of eggs and he did," said Billie, Gleeda's owner.

Next up, Pupcakes will be participating in Bark to the Park, a walk and festival to raise money for Palmetto Lifeline's homeless pets.
