Chelsea Parler, of Lexington, South Carolina, is a fifth year student at the University of South Carolina where she is working towards her degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Currently Chelsea works for Gamecock Productions within the athletic department where their recent project has been filming, writing and editing their own six part reality series on the school's softball team called Gamecock Confidential. She is also the editor for a local theatre called Shull Studios where she films and edits performances and classes for the students.
Chelsea has interned with Columbia's ETV station as well Lexington District One's Educational Foundation. She has received LIFE scholarship all four years of college along with the National Broadcasters Association Scholarship the past two years. She hopes to work for a major production company in the future as an editor. She loves to travel and has been to places such as Mexico, Italy, and studied abroad in Greece this past summer. She also likes playing soccer and is sarcastic 98% of the time.
