Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina into a military family, Alysha has traveled and lived around the world. Alysha moved to Irmo, South Carolina in August 2003 where her father retired from the Army. Sharing the same birthday as Katie Couric, Alysha from a young age has aspired to work in the television and news industry.
Having played sports, particularly soccer, since she was five years old, Alysha now coaches soccer for South Carolina United FC. It is her love of soccer that gives her the goal of one day working for Major League Soccer, U.S. Soccer or the English Premier League as a media coordinator working with the players, coaches and the media.
