Jake was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Ever since he was young he knew he wanted to pursue a career as a play-by-play sportscaster and got his start early by broadcasting his high school's basketball games. His dream is to return home and become the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Jake is a senior broadcast journalism major at the University of South Carolina. He works as a public address announcer for Gamecock Swimming and Diving and is the in-crowd emcee for Gamecock soccer, basketball and the two-time, defending national champion baseball team.
Jake spends most of his free time in the gym or on the golf course. He sees sports as more than just a possible profession but as a passion and uses his free time to keep up to date with all the latest sports news. He especially loves playing fantasy sports and has won at least one league every year since he was fourteen.
He interned as the voice of the Columbia Blowfish in 2011 and hopes this was just the start of his sportscasting career. He has also interned for the South Carolina Radio Network.
