Adam Lautenschlager is a senior broadcast journalism major and political science minor at the University of South Carolina. He has spent his entire life in South Carolina, living in West Columbia for the last 11 years, and graduating from Airport High School in 2008.
Adam is in his third year covering Gamecock athletics for WUSC-FM and hosts a weekly sports talk show for the station on Saturday mornings. He also spent this past summer interning for the Columbia Blowfish as the team's play-by-play announcer, fulfilling a lifelong dream of being a baseball team's broadcaster.
When not working for Carolina News, you might find Adam officiating basketball or umpiring softball for USC's Intramural Sports.
Adam is graduating in the spring and is hoping to find a job producing at a local news station.
