Kimmy Gaffney is from Philadelphia, PA and came to Columbia to pursue a degree in journalism at USC. She hopes to move out of Columbia after graduation and have a successful career in broadcast. Although Kimmy lives in the south, she is still a northern girl at heart.
Kimmy has interned at WHYY Inc. and WIS TV. She was also Viewpoints editor of The Daily Gamecock last summer. Her hobbies include reading, writing and spending time in the Coliseum.
