Chaos broke out last week's annual in-state rivalry game against Clemson when students who received tickets were not allowed in the game.

Students with legitimate tickets were denied access to the student section because others with fake tickets got in first.  The disputes led to fights, arguments with police and several arrests.

"I have huge bruising on my arm from where they grabbed me. They then proceeded to throw me to the ground…When I was on all fours they threw my face into the ground and I was taken to the hospital for the injuries I received, " says USC student Ryan Dul.

Student Services is holding a series of forums with students because of the continuing complaints about student football game ticketing. The first of four scheduled meeting was held Tuesday night.

Several options for a new policy were discussed at the forum including the use of Carolina cards being scanned at the gate instead of the printing out copies used now.

Ticket officials are hoping that students cooperate and give their input on finding solutions but they know it won't be easy.

"There's always going to be an overcrowding issues when you're dealing with students who are trying to con the system, because there's always going to be something about the system the student doesn't like," says Adrienne White the student ticketing coordinator.

White and her staff are hope that whatever changes they decide on puts an end to students storming the gates and to admit as many students they can into the games as they can.

Ticketing Services will hold the next forums an January and February at an undetermined date.
