Basketball season is here and many Gamecock fans are wondering if last year's leading scorer for USC's men's basketball team Bruce Ellington will return.
Ellington transferred his scholarship from basketball to football where he is a starting running back and also a back-up quarterback.
Ellington did not play in Thursday night's exhibition game but he does plan to return to the court after football season ends.
"I will we playing Nov. 26 after we play Clemson in football," he said. "I wont be playing in the preseason."
The switch back once football season is over shouldn't be too hard for him though.
"Football really helps you in basketball because it helps you keep your strength and it also helps you sit down and be a great defender," he said.
A star at both sports, he says basketball, however, is his true passion.
"Basketball will always be my first sport because I've loved it since I was little," he said.
