South Carolina running back Kenny Miles has been out of action with a wrist sprain for the last five weeks. He's back on the practice field this week, preparing for his comeback against Tennessee this weekend.
"It feels a lot better now I can run I can pass I can protect. I mean it feels good," Kenny says.
Starter Marcus Lattimore is out for the season and running backs coach Jay Graham has to go with a new look in the lineup. He says Miles will be an important part of that.
"Kenny is going to be ready. He's practiced for the last couple of weeks. He'll play a lot of reps, probably half. We'll see how the flow of the games goes," says Graham
Miles says he's working extremely hard to get back on the field and says he's almost 100 percent. Miles says team goals remain the same even with Lattimore out.
"With Marcus being down, a lot of people are counting us out. We all have a common goal we still want to have a great season. so that's the plan," says Miles.
Miles says he doesn't know if he will start but when he gets in he will maximize his opportunity. The gamecocks will face Tennessee Saturday in Knoxville.
