The Tin Roof is has been in Columbia for only 6 months, but owners say business has been pretty good which is why the restaurant has decided to give back to its patrons.
" This is just a thank you to the city of Columbia," said Tin Roof Bartender John Griffin. " I mean we've , we're doing really well right now."
Tin Roof opened its Columbia branch back in August of 2010. The business focuses on live music in a "laid back" atmosphere. The first Tin Roof started in 2002 in Nashville, Tennessee. The company also has restaurants in places such as Cool Springs TN, Lexington KY, and Knoxville TN.
The free lunch may be gone but the restaurant has left an impression on its customers.
"I'll definitely come back and pay," said Stephanie. "People like want to come back and be repeat customers and give them their business if they do something like this."
