Harvest Hope Asking for Help Feeding the Needy

There is an increase in the number of people looking for help feeding their families this year, and Harvest Hope Food Bank is asking for help providing them food. 

Harvest Hope relies on donations to help provides food for the hungry families in the Midlands.  More and more people are turning to the food bank for help. 

"Lots of people in this economy are unemployed," says Chief Development Officer Elizabeth Quackenbush, "Some of them are working two jobs and they still don't have enough to provide for their families."

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • First Baptist Church (Hampton and Marion Street in Columbia)
  • Palmetto Citizens FCU (Lexington)
  • Wild Hare (All three locations)
  • Cupcake (Vista)
  • Southeastern Salvage (Garners Ferry Rd)
  • The Computer Store (Lake Murray Blvd)
  • The Shoe Boutique (Hope Ferry Plaza in Lexington)
