The South Carolina Women's Soccer team remains undefeated in SEC play after gaining two more victories this past weekend against the top two teams in the SEC.
The Gamecocks defeated the Auburn Tigers 3-1 Friday then traveled to Alabama where they beat the Crimson Tide 2-1 Sunday.
Kayla Grimsley and Brooke Jacobs continued their hot streak, combining to score three goals Friday night against the Tigers.
Grimsley capped her strongest career weekend with two first-half goals against the Crimson Tide. She scored a total of four goals over the weekend.
Grimsley leads the SEC with 27 points courtesy of nine goals and nine assists. She is also a candidate for the Heisman Trophy award and just two goals shy of being the first Gamecock to join the 10-10 club in a season.
The two wins put Gamecocks at 11-2-2 for the season and 5-0-1 in SEC play.
