The USC softball team continued to struggle through its woeful season dropping all three games of it's weekend series against Tennessee. The Gamecocks dropped the last game of the series 8-0.
The Vols improved to 29-7, 10-3 in the SEC with the three wins.
The Gamecocks move to 10-26 on the season and are winless in the SEC at 0-16.
Saturday's only bright spot was seeing a season high crowd of 653 fans show up to help raise money for cancer research through donations and a silent auction in the Strike Out Cancer project.
The Gamecocks will take a break from SEC play when they host USC Upstate at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
