Super Bowl winning football coach Tony Dungy encouraged prison inmates in Columbia to move on from their pervious mistakes and focus on the future Tuesday.
About 1,750 inmates heard Dungy's 15 minutes speech. At the last of three prison stops, around 550 inmates from the Broad River Correctional Complex gathered for Dungy's Christian-based speech.
Dungy was also a keynote speaker at the luncheon fundraiser at Columbia International University, and later spoke to USC's football team during practice.
Dungy is best known for leading the Indianapolis Colts to a Super Bowl Victory in 2007. He is now a television commentator who says he enjoys ministering and is passionate about counseling others.
