Kelsey Bone's double-double wasn't enough as the South Carolina women's basketball team was eliminated from the SEC Tournament Thursday in a 64-63 loss to Ole Miss.
Bone scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but the Gamecocks fell short after the Rebels' Shantell Black made the winning basket with 16 seconds remaining.
USC forward La'Keisha Sutton had made a layup to put the Gamecocks up 63-61 with 35 seconds left to play.
Ole Miss' Bianca Thomas answered with a 3-pointer that missed the mark. Black grabbed the rebound and scored while being fouled by Bone. Black made the free throw to put the Rebels up for good.
USC's Teasia Wallace missed a three-pointer with 6 seconds remaining.
Ole Miss will advance to play Tennessee Friday. South Carolina ends its 2010 campaign with a 14-15 overall record.
The tournament is at the Gwinnett Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
