The Gamecocks defeated the Kentucky Wildcats earlier this season

The USC men's basketball team travels to Lexington, Ky Thursday night to face the Kentucky Wildcats. The Wildcats (26-1, 11-1 Southeastern Conference) are ranked #2 in the country and are atop the SEC standings The Gamecocks are currently 5-7 in conference play and 14-12 overall.
Horn, a Lexington native, takes his Gamecocks in following a three game losing streak.
The last time the team's played USC came out on top winning 69-62 here in Columbia. Devan Downey scored 30 points before urging fans to storm the court.
"To me it's no different than the first game we played with them… It's a great environment, it's a great college basketball environment," says Horn.
The Gamecocks are looking for a big win down the stretch although the team is unlikely to make the NCAA tournament. Kentucky is looking to avoid a fourth loss in two seasons to the Gamecocks.
The game will tip off at 9 p.m. ET ESPN2, as well as on the Gamecock Radio Network on 107.5 FM.
