The USC softball team remains undefeated after Tuesday night's double-header wins over the Longwood Lancers.
USC collected five runs to Longwood's single score in the first game. In the second, shortstop Lindsay Walker led South Carolina with three RBIs as the Gamecocks won 9-2.
These were the third and forth wins of the season for the Gamecocks who won both of their Palmetto State Showdown tournament games. They beat Coastal Carolina 11 to 3 and Winthrop 6 to 4 in the weekend contests.
The Gamecocks travel to Tallahassee to play Florida A&M on Friday.
