Steve Spurrier talks at a press conference on Tuesday.

South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier says he knows the Gamecocks have to take advantage of every opportunity if they want to pull an upset against the first-ranked Florida Gators this Saturday.
"To upset a team, you really have to maximize your scoring chances," Spurrier said at a press conference on Tuesday. "We didn't do it at Alabama, didn't do it last week [at Arkansas], but if we can do that we'll have a chance against those teams."
Spurrier also talked about the future of the team, and whether or not he will stay if the team continues to have mediocre seasons.
"I hope and plan to go three to four more years, something like that, and see what happens and if we're going 6-6 or 7-5, then someone else certainly should have the opportunity to go," he said.
However, Spurrier remains optimistic about the team's future.
"We do have some guys coming in and I'm looking forward to coaching," Spurrier said.
The Gamecocks will be kicking off against the Florida Gators at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium.
