The USC women's soccer team has done it again. The Lady Gamecocks enjoyed another win Sunday after they defeated South Alabama 6-1 to stay unbeaten.
Six players scored the goals with three in each half. The Lady Gamecocks are ranked twelfth in the nation as they move into their SEC season. The team boasts a season with eight wins, no losses and no ties, a first in the program's history.
Head coach, Shelley Smith said she was a little disappointed the ladies gave up a goal that ended their shutout streak but is very happy with the scoring.
"Everyone came in and worked well together. We got a lot of players in and a lot of good minutes from everybody," Coach Smith said.
Come cheer on the Lady Gamecocks as they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores Sunday at 7pm at Stony Stadium.
