USC head basketball coach Darrin Horn says there is no truth to rumors he's been talking with Xavier about that school's head coaching job.
There's been some speculation Horn had already talked with Xavier but the coach is denying there's been any discussion about leaving Columbia.
"I don't get involved in rumor mills that are out there, however, contrary to published reports, I have not spoken to any other school nor am I looking to," Horn said in a statement released Friday. "I am proud of what we accomplished this season and am excited about the future of South Carolina basketball. I can't wait to get to workouts with our players tomorrow and continue recruiting this spring."
Horn was not at a scheduled practice Thursday afternoon, according to sources, but he was back at the team's practice facility later in the day.
Horn just finished his first season with the Gamecocks, leading the team to its first winning season in 10 years.
